General rules for admission

  1. All the students seeking admission will be governed by the technical rules and regulations, ordinances of Punjabi University, Patiala.
  2. The admission shall be strictly on the basis of merit and as per the number of seats available.
  3. The candidates will have to appear personally for interview on the date fixed for the same. No student shall be admitted without personal interview.
  4. The college as per the norms/ rules of university can reject any application for admission.
  5. If a person gets his/ her result late after re-evaluation/ re-checking, the admission shall be governed by the rules of the university and the late fee as fixed and applicable at that time by the university shall be charged.
  6. Any candidate disqualified by any board/ university shall not be admitted.
  7. Any candidate convicted of crime etc. shall not be admitted.
  8. If any changes in the rules and regulations are made by the university, then the changed rules shall be applicable, as and when adopted.
  9. Ragging is criminal offence as per the law and any candidate/ student involved in ragging in any form shall be liable for punishment as per the laws/ rules.
  10. No student shall be admitted in any class as casual student.
  11. Those candidates, who have passed their qualifying exam in the last academic session, shall be preferred for admission to the candidates who have some gap in years of their study.
